Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Deir Al Balah Municipality in central Gaza to execute a project aimed at the maintenance and operation of damaged water networks, pipelines, and wells within the city. This initiative seeks to enhance water accessibility for residents and displaced individuals amidst the escalating water crisis of recent months. The agreement details the repair and operation of water infrastructure that has been compromised by the ongoing conflict in the area, thereby alleviating the municipality's burden and ensuring a consistent water supply to regions densely populated with displaced persons.

As part of this endeavor, the UAE will furnish urgent humanitarian solutions to Deir Al Balah Municipality, including financial support to restore the functionality of water wells and reservoirs, many of which have been damaged. The project is designed to mitigate the strain on the municipality resulting from the destruction of water networks and the scarcity of operational resources. Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has been actively engaged in repairing and extending water pipelines across various governorates in Gaza. Previously, the initiative implemented a project to rehabilitate water networks in northern Gaza, Gaza City, and Khan Younis as a component of its humanitarian efforts to support Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
