The PlayStation Pulse Elite Wireless Headset, compatible with PS5, PC, and PlayStation Portal, has seen its first significant price drop since its release earlier this year. Walmart's early Black Friday sale offers the Pulse Elite for $130, down from its usual $150. This sale is set to last until November 17, but it's unlikely the discount will remain throughout the event. With the Pulse Elite potentially selling out quickly, PS5 owners should seize this opportunity while it lasts.

The Pulse Elite is positioned as a mid-range headset, yet it delivers strong value, especially with the $20 reduction. For those who prefer older models, the Pulse 3D is available for $87 in Walmart's Black Friday sale, marking a $13 discount from its typical $100 price. This is a rare discount for the Pulse 3D, and the offer is valid for the Midnight Black edition.

If you're more inclined towards earbuds, the Pulse Explore is priced at $200, but there's a more affordable official alternative. Sony's Inzone Buds, available at Amazon for $178 (originally $200), are designed by Sony Electronics, not PlayStation, and are optimized for PC gamers. However, they function seamlessly with PS5 and utilize all of the console's audio features. The Inzone Buds boast the best active noise cancellation among gaming headsets/earbuds we've tested, equipped with the same audio drivers as Sony's WF-1000XM5 earbuds. They connect to PS5, PC, and other devices via a 2.4GHz USB-C dongle. One notable drawback is the absence of traditional Bluetooth support; Inzone Buds only support Bluetooth LE, which is limited to select Android phones (not iPhones). Nonetheless, they can be used wirelessly with an iPhone using the dongle.
