Barcelona forward Raphinha expressed on Saturday that beginning the season with four straight victories serves as a declaration of the players' commitment to demonstrate their value. Following his first career hat trick and providing two assists in Barca's 7-0 thrashing of Real Valladolid, Raphinha emphasized that the victory underscores the team's capability to compete at the highest level.

"Today's match has demonstrated that no additional signings are necessary. We are extremely pleased with this," Raphinha shared with Movistar Plus. "We are in excellent form. The team is putting in a lot of effort. Today's outcome reflects our objectives. We noticed the coach (Hansi Flick) urging for more goals from the sidelines, which encapsulates our mindset."

"We are eager and aiming to score as many goals as possible. When we dominate as we have, the best way to honor our opponents is by maintaining our intensity." Raphinha, who faced scrutiny during Barcelona's trophyless previous season, was widely speculated to be on the transfer list due to the club's escalating financial challenges and the need to comply with LaLiga's financial regulations by reducing the first-team payroll.

Barcelona released players including Ilkay Gundogan, Clement Lenglet, Vitor Roque, and several academy talents, while only adding one player in the recent transfer window. Midfielder Dani Olmo joined from RB Leipzig, having played a pivotal role in Spain's Euro 2024 victory. Raphinha has been entrusted with a crucial role by new manager Flick, enabling him to excel as a flexible offensive asset in Barcelona's initial four matches.

"I'm unsure if today was my finest performance, but it's definitely among the best. I aim to improve further and contribute as much as possible," the Brazilian stated. "I'm delighted to assist the team. I feel great. I recognized that this season would be pivotal for me. I'm striving to reach my best form to support my teammates and boost my confidence."

Barcelona leads the standings heading into the international break with a flawless record of 12 points from four games, five points ahead of second-placed Villarreal and seven clear of traditional rivals Real Madrid, who are in fourth and have a game in hand.
