Bollywood star Raveena Tandon has expressed her apologies to her fans in London after she abruptly left without posing for selfies. The actress took to her X (formerly Twitter) account to share her perspective on the situation, detailing the reasons behind her reaction. Tandon explained that her response was influenced by a prior incident in Bandra, Mumbai, where she was wrongly accused of being drunk and causing a car accident. The Mumbai police later refuted these allegations, but the ordeal left her unsettled.

In her post, Tandon recounted, "Hello, this is to clarify that a few days ago in London, while I was walking, a group of men approached me. Given the not-so-positive reports about the crime situation there, I was already on edge. When they asked if I was who I am, my immediate reaction was to deny it and hurry away, especially since I was alone. They probably just wanted a photo, and I usually oblige, but the incident in Bandra a few months back has left me quite nervous and traumatized. With people around, I'm fine, but when I'm alone, I still feel anxious."

Tandon further expressed her remorse, stating, "I should have probably taken a picture with them, as they might have been genuine fans. However, I panicked and quickly walked away, seeking help from a security guard. I felt terrible afterwards and want to apologize to them through this platform if they are reading this. It was not my intention to offend. I'm truly sorry."

Hoping for another opportunity to meet her fans, the actress added, "I hope I can meet you again and take a picture with you, perhaps. I strive to be approachable and normal, but sometimes I falter. So sorry, everyone. I hope you read this and understand that I shouldn't have panicked."

Earlier in June, an altercation involving Tandon's driver was reported outside her residence in Mumbai.
