Saudi Arabia's Energy Minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, revealed on Monday the identification of several oil and gas fields in the Eastern Province and Empty Quarter, as reported by the official Saudi news agency. The Minister highlighted that Saudi Aramco had successfully discovered two unconventional oil fields, a light Arabian oil reservoir, two natural gas fields, and two natural gas reservoirs. In his closing remarks, he expressed gratitude to God and congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince on these accomplishments.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the 'Al-Ladam' unconventional oil field was located in the Eastern Region, where the Ladam-2 well produced 5,100 barrels of very light Arabian oil per day, along with approximately 4.9 million standard cubic feet of gas daily. Similarly, the 'Al-Furooq' unconventional oil field was identified in the Eastern Region, with the Al-Furooq-4 well yielding 4,557 barrels of very light Arabian oil per day and about 3.79 million standard cubic feet of gas daily. The 'Unaizah B/C' reservoir was also found in the 'Mazalej' area of the Eastern Region, where the Mazalej-62 well flowed at a rate of 1,780 barrels of light Arabian oil per day, accompanied by roughly 0.7 million standard cubic feet of gas daily.

Regarding natural gas discoveries, the 'Al-Jahq' field was located in the Empty Quarter, with natural gas flowing from the 'Arab-C' reservoir in the Al-Jahq-1 well at a rate of 5.3 million standard cubic feet per day, and from the 'Arab-D' reservoir in the same well at a rate of 1.1 million standard cubic feet per day. Additionally, the 'Al-Katuf' field was discovered in the Empty Quarter, where the Al-Katuf-1 well produced 7.6 million standard cubic feet of natural gas per day, along with about 40 barrels of condensates. The 'Hanifa' reservoir was identified in the 'Assikara' field in the Empty Quarter, with natural gas flowing in the Assikara-6 well at a rate of 4.9 million standard cubic feet per day, and from the 'Al-Fadhili' reservoir in the same well at a rate of 0.6 million standard cubic feet per day, accompanied by approximately 100 barrels of condensates daily.
