Saudi Arabia has authorized the awarding of citizenship to a varied assortment of professionals, encompassing scientists, doctors, researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs, who distinguish themselves in their individual domains, as per the Saudi Press Agency.
"This proclamation aligns with the Royal directive to confer Saudi citizenships upon experts and outstanding global talents possessing distinctive abilities in religious, medical, scientific, cultural, sports, and technological sectors, thereby fostering the growth of diverse sectors across the Kingdom. It also supports the attainment of Saudi Vision 2030's objective to cultivate an appealing environment that facilitates the attraction, investment in, and retention of exceptional creative minds," the SPA detailed.
The Royal directive extends the Kingdom's commitment to drawing in exceptional talents across economic development, health, culture, sport, and innovation. A comparable Royal directive was enacted in 2021 to bestow Saudi citizenship upon a chosen group of experts in these areas.
