Saudi Arabia has expressed its support for the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon, which came into effect on Wednesday. The Gulf kingdom commended the countries involved in negotiating the truce. In a statement released via social media, the foreign ministry said, "The kingdom appreciates all international efforts made in this regard," referring to the agreement that was supported by the United States and France.
