Season 1 is set to debut in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone on November 14, bringing with it fresh maps, modes, and a revamped battle pass loaded with cosmetic items. The battle pass system in Call of Duty has undergone a significant transformation for Black Ops 6, moving away from the combat map-style introduced in Modern Warfare 2 to a more streamlined and linear format. Activision has released a new trailer showcasing the redesigned battle pass.
The Season 1 battle pass features over 100 unlockable items spread across 14 pages, with a design reminiscent of Fortnite's battle pass. Each page offers several items that can be unlocked in any sequence, providing players with greater flexibility. Completing all items on a page rewards players with a high-tier item known as the HVT reward.
Players can opt for their battle pass tokens to automatically unlock rewards in sequence or disable the auto feature to select their preferred order of unlocks. The free tiers of the pass include the new Krig C assault rifle and Saug submachine gun, while the paid version offers premium operator skins and weapon blueprints. The BlackCell pass, offering additional content and battle pass tier skips, also makes a return.
