Large gatherings of residents participated in a festive parade organized by Sharjah Police to commemorate the UAE's 53rd National Day, also known as Eid Al Etihad, along the northern coast of Dibba Al Hisn.

The event, in partnership with the Sharjah Police Academy, commenced with a military parade involving personnel from the Sharjah Police General Command, the General Command of the Amiri Guard, students from the Sharjah Police Academy, and the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority. The participants showcased their marching and field drill skills, accompanied by the academy's military band. This was followed by a procession displaying various vehicles and equipment used by the emirate's security forces. The showcased vehicles were equipped with advanced systems and technologies designed for police and security missions, rapid response, and firefighting operations.

Sharjah has planned an array of exciting festivities and entertainment for residents and visitors to celebrate the country's National Day. The Sharjah Union Day Celebrations Committee recently announced that the celebrations for the four-day holiday will take place from November 21 to December 2. On a national level, Al Ain will host the UAE’s National Day celebrations this year, as announced by its organizing committee. The official ceremony will be held “amid the stunning natural landscapes of Al Ain, a city dearly loved by the people of the UAE”, according to the committee. Residents across the UAE can watch the National Day holiday celebrations live on December 2 on local TV channels, cinemas, and selected public areas. Viewing locations throughout the Emirates will be announced soon.
