Expansion of Academic Offerings

AUS has expanded its academic offerings to include 32 bachelor's degrees, 18 master's degrees, and five PhD programs. New programs encompass a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Supply Chain Management, Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Digital Construction Engineering and Management, Bachelor of Science in Intelligent Systems and Mechatronics Engineering, Master of Science in Economics and Policy, Master of Science in Machine Learning, and PhD in Mathematics. Additionally, AUS has revamped the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences and Sustainability and the Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry.

Introduction of Scholarships

In line with its commitment to fostering diverse talent, AUS has introduced three new scholarships: the prestigious President's Scholarship, the Chancellor's Scholarship, and the Outstanding Academic Performance Scholarship.

Launch of Research Centres

Complementing its investment in programs and scholarships, AUS has established three top-tier research centres: the Energy, Water and Sustainable Environment Research Centre, the Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Sustainable Development, and the Materials Research Centre. These centres embody AUS' dedication to addressing societal challenges and driving aligned innovation with the UAE's visionary agendas.

Global and Regional Recognition

AUS consistently receives recognition from ranking institutions for its combined teaching and research initiatives. Its recent achievements include being ranked in the top 125 universities globally in the THE Young University Rankings 2024, among the top 150 universities in Asia in the THE Asia University Rankings 2024, and maintaining a position in the top 10 Arab Universities for the ninth consecutive year in the QS Arab Region University Rankings.
