TikTok influencer Taylor Rousseau Grigg opened up about the physical and emotional struggles she faced in the months leading up to her untimely death at the age of 25. With over 1.4 million followers on the platform, Taylor discussed her health challenges in a video shared on TikTok on August 8.

"A girl said that I just looked like the life has been drained out of me. Honestly, for a time there, that’s true," she revealed in the video. "I feel like I’m fighting for life every day. When I didn’t necessarily know what was wrong with me, I’d be in bed in pain just wishing to be dead because I just wanted it to end and I don’t necessarily feel that way now."

"It just sucks because I’m 24 years old," Taylor said, fighting back tears. "I should be in my prime. I should be able to walk to the mailbox or run and those are just things I can’t really do right now."

Her husband, Cameron Grigg, announced her passing on Instagram, describing it as "so sudden and unexpected." "No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age," Cameron wrote in his post. "This past year Taylor has dealt with more pain and suffering than most people do in a lifetime. And in spite of that she still has been such a light and always brought joy to everyone around her."

Cameron hailed Taylor as the "most brave and strong woman I know," noting that "her confidence in the Lord outweighed every other circumstance she’s faced, even in her darkest hours." He also mentioned that his wife, whom he married on August 19, 2023, "saved my life and so many others out there."

Cameron revealed that Taylor had decided to donate her organs. "More than anything Taylor would want to know that she’s continuing to save people’s lives even after she’s gone from this world," he wrote. "And even though her earthly body may have failed her, her memory and life will be carried on forever. She doesn’t owe anyone, anything. But she would want everyone to know that she’s more than ok."

Taylor’s husband expressed his relief that Taylor is "no longer in pain." "We can praise God that she will endure no more suffering and she is truly set free from these earthly chains! SHES BEEN MADE WHOLE AND PERFECT!" he stated.

Following Taylor’s death, Cameron launched a GoFundMe page, revealing that they "don’t have anything financially in order" nor do they have insurance. He set the goal at $100,000. As of Monday, Oct. 7, over $42,000 worth of donations have been received. "And even if you can’t contribute financially, prayers for our family are always needed," Taylor’s husband continued. "I love y’all. Taylor loves y’all. Thank you for all the support and kind words during this time."

The 25-year-old influencer’s final video was posted on September 26. It showed Taylor playing with her beloved dog. Taylor and Cameron began dating in 2021 after connecting via social media. He proposed in June 2022 and they married the following year.
