A truck that overturned on a major highway led to a traffic jam in Dubai on Monday evening, around 6pm. Witnesses caught in the congestion informed Khaleej Times that officials were attempting to right the truck, which had flipped on the Sheikh Zayed exit, en route to Jebel Ali. Concurrently, the exit was closed off as authorities worked to clear the area and retrieve the truck. Drivers navigating the vicinity of the Al Maktoum airport roundabout also encountered significant delays, near the site of the incident. A snapshot from Google Maps illustrates the extent of the delays, highlighting the heavy traffic on the approach to the exit.

In such scenarios, drivers are encouraged to seek alternative routes and to drive with care, ensuring their safety and that of other road users.
