As the UAE commemorates Flag Day on November 1, the Dubai Ruler has urged all ministries and institutions to hoist the flag simultaneously at 11am on November 1.
"We celebrate the emblem of our nation, the essence of our unity, and the wellspring of our honor: the flag of the United Arab Emirates," Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice-President of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, stated on Twitter. The leader also extended an invitation to "all citizens of the nation to partake in this significant event."
Flag Day serves as a testament of affection for the nation, allegiance to the flag, and "our renewed resolve to ensure the flag of our union soars high, embodying the pride, splendor, and dignity of the United Arab Emirates," he further added.
