The UAE's national domain '.ae' has reached 347,000 registrations, indicating strong demand and confidence from companies, individuals, and businesses. These domains are overseen by the UAE's Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, which is dedicated to enhancing services and deploying advanced technologies to ensure domain security and efficiency.

The domain name (.ae) plays a crucial role in bolstering the UAE's digital infrastructure, significantly enhancing the country's digital identity and supporting its digital economy. It serves as a symbol of trust and credibility for business owners, individuals, and enterprises, validating their activities and boosting their digital visibility and access to both local and international customers.

To enhance user experience, the National Domain Registry in the UAE introduced several features, including the 'Name Ideas' service. This service, powered by generative artificial intelligence, suggests domain names for prospective registrants based on a simple description of their business activity. Since its launch in 2023, the service has garnered over 10,000 visits, making it the first of its kind in the region. Additionally, the domain has attracted major companies, increasing the total number of accredited registrars to 26.

Commenting on these advancements, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Zarooni, Deputy Director General of the Information and Digital Government Sector, stated, "Thanks to TDRA's ongoing efforts and improvements, the UAE national domain (.ae) continues to be the preferred choice for companies and individuals aiming to strengthen their digital presence and thrive in a competitive digital market."

He further added, "The UAE national domain (.ae) is not just an internet domain name; it symbolizes the country's dedication to fortifying its digital economy and creating new opportunities for businesses and individuals."
