The National City of Meteorology has issued red and yellow alerts across most regions of the UAE today. Residents are cautioned about reduced visibility that could persist until 9am on Wednesday. Coastal and inland areas may experience even lower visibility. The Abu Dhabi Police have advised drivers to be cautious due to the foggy conditions, urging them to adhere to the fluctuating speed limits shown on electronic signs. Additionally, the authorities have temporarily lowered the speed limit to 80km/h on certain roads in the capital. According to the NCM's forecast, the weather is anticipated to be generally fair with occasional partial cloud cover. Cloud formations are expected to develop eastward and could become convective by the afternoon. Humidity is predicted to increase during the night and into Thursday morning, with a possibility of fog or mist forming in some coastal and inland areas, particularly westward. Light to moderate winds are expected, occasionally strengthening, while the sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea will be calm. Temperatures are forecasted to range from a low of 25°C in the mountainous regions to a high of 49°C in inland areas. Humidity levels could peak at 90 percent in certain parts of the UAE.
