US-based shipyard Vento Yachts has unveiled a new, 40.6-metre model dubbed the V135 X-PLR. The construction of the first hull is slated to commence in February 2025.
OTTO Yachts Design has been entrusted with the exterior design, which draws inspiration from industrial aesthetics, most notably reflected in the distinctive bow awning. The engineering prowess is attributed to CMN Yacht Design. Key specifications include an 8.9-metre beam, a gross tonnage of approximately 400GT, and a draught of 2.6 metres.
Accommodation is thoughtfully arranged across four guest cabins and a master suite featuring floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic 270-degree view. Additionally, there are quarters for nine crew members. Leisure facilities are extensive, featuring a cinema room, multiple 'ergonomically designed' office spaces, and a beach club equipped with a fully-functional gym. Renderings also showcase several outdoor lounges, an upper deck bar, sun loungers on the sundeck, and storage for a tender and two Jet Skis on the main deck aft.
The V135 X-PLR is anticipated to achieve a top speed of 14 knots and boast a cruising range of 4,500 nautical miles. Vento Yachts recently showcased a 25.8-metre sports model to BOAT International. This model, characterized by its muscular profile and advanced composite construction, was designed by Turkish studio Pose Yacht Design, who also handled the yacht's engineering.
