Victoria Beckham's stringent dietary habits have garnered attention for years, with her husband David disclosing that she has consumed the same meal for the past 25 years. Her go-to meal: Grilled fish and steamed vegetables. Recently, the fashion designer and ex-Spice Girls vocalist divulged in an interview with the UK's Telegraph the genuine rationale behind her disciplined diet. Beckham, 50, who abstained from meat at the tender age of eight, stated that her diet is meticulously chosen due to her skin. This stems from her self-consciousness about acne during her 20s, at the zenith of Spice Girls' popularity. To maintain a glowing complexion, Beckham eschews specific wheats and flours, opting instead for cassava flour. She also employs a $3855 Dermalux LED device for 30 minutes each morning.

"It was due to my skin that I became very cautious about what I consumed," Beckham shared with the Telegraph. Regarding photo shoots, Beckham admitted feeling uneasy. "And yes, perhaps I appeared stern in many pictures, but I was so uncomfortable."

As she matures, Beckham finds this period liberating: "Was there a time when I scrolled through all the comments about me? Probably. But now I simply don't have the time." A typical day for Beckham involves an early start, weight training, seeing Harper off to school, and then heading to the office.

David previously discussed his wife's diet in 2022: "Unfortunately, I'm married to someone who has eaten the same thing for the last 25 years." He continued, "Since I met her, she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables; she rarely deviates from that." He fondly recalled, "The only time she probably ever shared something from my plate was when she was pregnant with Harper, and it was the most incredible evening. I can't recall what it was, but I know she hasn't eaten it since."

Victoria previously disclosed that she abstains from food cooked in oil, butter, or sauces and avoids dairy. Her comfort food is a slice of whole grain toast with salt, and on her birthday, she celebrates with a fruit-based cake. "It was very sad because when you make such an effort, not just me and my team but the bride and groom and everyone else to create a unique menu," she said. "Hers was totally different and just based around vegetables. And then there were some odd things that I've never seen in my life." She mentioned coconut water, a bowl of mints, and hydroalcoholic gel, which was famous later but not during that time.
