Dutch shipyard Zeelander Yachts has unveiled the inaugural vessel in its flagship Zeelander 8 series, christened Silver Dawn. Conceived by designer Cor D. Rover, the 23.9-metre yacht embodies the brand's distinctive aesthetic, emphasizing performance, speed, and comfort.

Silver Dawn is elegantly finished in Porsche rhodium silver, complemented by an orange bootstripe. The yacht integrates the brand's iconic curved windows and sunroof, ensuring naturally illuminated interiors. Additionally, it showcases the shipyard's signature S-shaped sheerline and a raked stern.

The interior is a blend of cream leather, grey linen upholstery, and Macassar ebony cabinetry, all crafted for durability with high-pressure laminate to minimize maintenance. "By reducing maintenance needs, the yacht spends more time on the water and less time at the dock," elucidated Zeelander founder Sietse Koopmans. "This approach extends to our meticulous engineering."

The yacht can host up to nine guests across three double cabins, including a full-beam master cabin with an en suite bathroom. Crew accommodations for three are provided with a separate entrance for privacy. The main saloon, spanning the full length, includes a dining area and helm station. The aft section houses a large tender garage capable of accommodating a Williams 395 Sportjet and twin SeaBobs. The aft deck features padded leatherette seats and a transom that opens to form a substantial bathing platform above the water.

Other notable features include customizable layouts, a full-beam tender garage, and exceptional handling across various propulsion options. "We are immensely proud of the Zeelander 8 project," Koopmans concluded. "Inspired by a loyal client's aspiration for a larger yacht, the Zeelander 8 not only preserves the renowned Zeelander style but also significantly enhances interior space without compromising performance."

At a top speed of 40 knots, Silver Dawn operates "at full throttle" without exceeding the 65dBa noise barrier.
